Sebastian Korda announced on Wednesday that he will miss the rest of the grass-court season, including Wimbledon, due to injury.
The American is struggling with a stress fracture in his right shin and is currently in a boot and using crutches.
“Unfortunately no Wimbledon for me this year,” Korda wrote on Instagram. “Stress fracture in my shin during the clay. Been a tough 12 months, but better days ahead.”
Korda is currently the No. 26 player in the PIF ATP Rankings and owns an 11-10 record for the season, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index. He recently made the third round at Roland Garros, where he fell to countryman Frances Tiafoe in the third round.
The two-time ATP Tour titlist made the fourth round on his Wimbledon debut in 2021, but will not return to SW19 for the season’s third major until 2026.
