The Roland Garros men’s singles main draw entry list was released on Tuesday.
Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz will try to lift the Coupe des Mousquetaires again in 2025 for the fifth major trophy of his career. The Spaniard has claimed at least one Slam trophy every season from 2022-24 and will try to make it a fourth consecutive year with a major by triumphing in Paris.
By winning the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, Alcaraz climbed to No. 2 in the PIF ATP Rankings. The 21-year-old will continue battling at ATP Tour events, including this week's Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell, to earn one of the crucial top two seeds at Roland Garros.
World No. 1 Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz and 24-time major champion Novak Djokovic also top the entry list.
Four players have used their protected ranking to enter the clay-court event: Reilly Opelka, Jenson Brooksby, Sebastian Ofner and Emil Ruusuvuori.
The last player inside the current cut is Hugo Dellien, the No. 101 player in the PIF ATP Rankings. Immediately outside the cut are Luca Nardi, Chun-Hsin Tseng and Alexander Shevchenko.
