No. 6 Ben Shelton, +4
Shelton produced a flawless run in Montreal to claim the fourth — and biggest — title of his 2026 season. The 23-year-old American did not drop a set across his six victories, including a straight-sets win against Brandon Nakashima in Thursday’s final. By successfully defending his title, Shelton climbed four places to World No. 6, just one spot behind his career-high No. 5.
No. 11 Rafael Jodar, +4 (Career High)
Jodar continues to make a remarkable impact in his first full season on the ATP Tour. The 19-year-old Spaniard, who was ranked outside the Top 500 last August, reached his first Masters 1000 semi-final in Montreal to surge four places to a new career-high World No. 11. Although his run ended against Nakashima, Jodar has also climbed to seventh in the PIF ATP Live Race To Turin, strengthening his bid to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals in November.
No. 12 Learner Tien, +7 (Career High)
The reigning Next Gen ATP Finals champion, Tien reached his first Masters 1000 semi-final in Montreal, defeating the likes of Gael Monfils and Tommy Paul along the way. The 20-year-old lefty has risen seven places to a new career-high World No. 12 and is closing in on a Top-10 debut. With Shelton and Nakashima also advancing to the last four, it marked the first time three Americans reached the semi-finals of the Canadian ATP Masters 1000 since 1992.
No. 22 Brandon Nakashima, +9 (Career High)
Nakashima produced one of the standout runs of the week, reaching his first Masters 1000 final with an impressive display of aggressive tennis. The American ended Jodar’s breakthrough run in the semi-finals before pushing Shelton in a tight two-set final. Despite falling short of the title, Nakashima has climbed nine places to a new career-high World No. 22.
