Sinner, Djokovic headline stars training at Wimbledon

The ATP Tour's biggest stars, including Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic, have arrived at Wimbledon and are working hard to prepare themselves for the season's third Grand Slam tournament.

The No. 1 player in the PIF ATP Rankings Sinner is the defending champion, while Djokovic, a seven-time Wimbledon champion, is chasing a record 25th major title.

Djokovic is set for his 21st appearance at Wimbledon. Last year, the Serbian fell to Sinner in the semi-finals.

The 39-year-old is 9-4 this season, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index and most recently competed at Roland Garros, where he lost to Joao Fonseca in the third round. Should Djokovic capture the Wimbledon crown, he would tie Roger Federer's record of eight titles.

The 2024 quarter-finalist Tommy Paul is also set to compete at the season's third major. The American recently reached the final at Queen's Club, where he fell to Francisco Cerundolo in the championship match.

Casper Ruud, who recently celebrated his wedding in Mallorca, has arrived at Wimbledon. The three-time Grand Slam finalist is set for his sixth main-draw appearance and is aiming to advance beyond the second round for the first time at SW19.

Marin Cilic, the 2017 finalist, also trained ahead of the grass-court major on Tuesday. The Croatian, who made his tournament debut in 2007, last year reached the fourth round.

Frances Tiafoe was also among those who trained on Tuesday, with coach Mark Kovacs by his side. Tiafoe arrives at Wimbledon having last week won the biggest title of his career at the ATP 500 in Halle.

The main draw action at Wimbledon runs 29 June-12 July.
