Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz will aim to add to their 2026 major titles in September at the US Open, with the trio headlining the entry list for the hard-court event in New York.
The No. 1 player in the PIF ATP Rankings Sinner triumphed at the US Open in 2024 and will arrive off the back of winning his fifth major crown at Wimbledon in July. World No. 2 Zverev, a finalist in New York in 2020, ended his wait for a Slam at Roland Garros in June, when he lifted his first trophy at the level.
Alcaraz has not competed since Barcelona in April due to a wrist injury but is on the US Open entry list. The 23-year-old Spaniard is the defending champion in Flushing Meadows, having defeated great rival Sinner in last year’s championship match.
The record 24-time major champion Novak Djokovic is aiming to capture his first major title since he won in New York in 2023. The 39-year-old reached the final at the Australian Open in February and the semi-finals at Wimbledon earlier this month.
Top-10 stars Ben Shelton and Taylor Fritz will lead home hopes in the United States. Fritz reached the championship match in New York 2024, while Shelton enjoyed a semi-final run in 2023.
