Sinner, Alcaraz lead Wimbledon seeds

For the second consecutive major, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz are the top two seeds in the men’s singles draw at Wimbledon, which runs from 30 June-13 July.

Sinner, World No. 1 in the PIF ATP Rankings, leads the field in London and can only face the two-time defending champion Alcaraz in the title match. The pair met in the Roland Garros final earlier this month, when Alcaraz saved three championship points en route to prevailing in a five-hour, 29-minute epic, improving to 8-4 in his Lexus ATP Head2Head series with the Italian.

Alexander Zverev is chasing his first major and is the third seed, while British lefty Jack Draper, seeded fourth, leads home hopes. Taylor Fritz, a two-time quarter-finalist, is the fifth seed with seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic seeded sixth. The 38-year-old Serbian has not competed since his semi-final exit to Sinner at Roland Garros.

Lorenzo Musetti (No. 7) and Holger Rune (No. 8) round out the Top 8 seeds.
