Full name is Nicolas Jarry Fillol.
Father, Allan, and mother, Cecilia, both work in business and used to play pro volleyball for Chile.
Wife, Laura;younger sisters, Belen and Sofia; younger brothers, Diego and Sebastian.
Grandfather, Jaime Fillol, was a Top-20 player who gave Nicolas his 1st racquetand took him to tournaments such as Wimbledon and US Open when he wasa child.
Great-uncle, Alvaro Fillol, was also a pro and together with Jaime ran former ATP 250 event in Vina del Mar.
Aunt, Catalina Fillol, is tournament director of Santiago ATP 250 event.
Uncle, Martin Rodriguez, is a former Top-75 singles and Top-15 doubles player.
Idols growing up were Chilean players Nicolas Massu, Fernando Gonzalez and Adrian Garcia.
Favourite shot is serve and tournament is Wimbledon.

Trained from 2011-12 in Key Biscayne, FL, USA. Represented USA briefly as a junior.

Unranked to begin 2021, achieved career-high No. 16 in May 2024 after becoming 1st Chilean since Gonzalez in 2007 to reach ATP Masters 1000 final in Rome.
In 2023, rallied from a set down three times in five matches to win his 2nd ATP Tour title in his hometown of Santiago and upset former champions Ruud and Zverev en route to Geneva title.
