Ron will serve as assistant coach of the USTA Junior Davis Cup team for
the second straight summer. The 1986 collegiate season was also Ron's second
as the head men's tennis coach at his alma mater, The University of Arkansas.
Ron led the Razorbacks to a third place finish in the Southwest Conference.
As a player, Ron was a three-time Southwest Conference Champion and an All-
American in 1980. In his touring pro career he was a runner-up at the USTA
circuit events in Sioux City, IA, El Paso, TX. and New Orleans, LA.
