An outstanding junior player who enrolled at Stanford University for his
freshman year for the 1989-90 season. He ranked No. 38 in the pre-season
collegiate rankings.
He was the 1989 USTA National 18s Hardcourt champion and was among the
top 5 in the national 18s rankings.
He was the top-ranked NorCal junior in 1988.
Moved from Wertheim, West Germany in summer of 1983 to Northern Califor-
nia.
Reached the quarterfinals of his second pro tournament at Orlando in
April 1990, losing to David Pate.
