Began playing tennis at age 10. Didn't play much growing in Surabaya,
but now plays everyday in Jakarta.
Mother, Sre Hoetami, is a housewife; father, Kartono, teaches tennis
(private lessons). Has two sisters and three brothers.
Enjoys listening to music and reading.
Played in the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games and led Goran Ivanisevic 5-2
in the first set, before losing the second round match in straight sets.
