    Reached the 1995 NCAA singles championship, losing to top-seeded Sargis
    Sargsian of Arizona State, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.
    Finished No. 2 in the final collegiate rankings and earned singles
    All-America honors while at the University of Southern California. Played two
    years at Cal-Irvine (1991-92) before transferring to USC for his final two
    seasons.
    Ranked No. 1 in the Boys' 18s by the Southern Calif. Tennis Assoc. and
    No. 19 by the USTA in 1990.
    In '91, earned a gold medal at the University Games and on Pan Am squad.
    His father, Phil Dent, is a former pro player who reached the Australian
    Open final in 1974. His mother, Bettyann Dent, played one season at UCLA.
    Enjoys golfing and snow skiing.
