1989- Doubles Semifinalist at Bossonnens Ch. (w/Bulant).
1988- Doubles Semifinalist at Munich Ch. (w/Bulant).
Qualified with countryman Daniel Vacek to win the Yugoslavian Open in
Umag in May 1990. Prior to winning his first title, had mostly played on the
satellite and challenger levels.
Serving in the Czechoslovakian army and is half way through getting his
economics degree from Prague University. His father-in-law is Frank Pala,
the Czech Davis Cup coach.
