Began playing tennis at age nine since his family played. Father, Max,
is an accouting clerk; mother, Patricia, is a housewife. Has two older
sisters, Julie and Carolyn, both secretaries.
Hobbies include cars, playing golf, cricket, and water-skiing.
Has enjoyed most of his success in doubles. Reached his first career
tour doubles final in Prague in August 1992 with Jonas Bjorkman.
Captured his first career ATP Tour doubles title in Florence on June 12,
1994 with Kenny Thorne.
