Winner of 10 US national championships as a junior...Advanced to QF at Wimbledon Juniors and won Orange Bowl 16s doubles in 1987...Reached SF of NCAA tournament in May 1989 while at the University of Georgia...Played two years at Georgia, earning All-America honors in 1989...Third in a line of Franciscos (father and grandfather)...His father, Francisco Sr., owns Montana Tennis Club in Miami...Mother, Rosario, works there as well...Both parents born in Colombia but met in Miami when their families moved there...Wife, Isabel (married Nov. 29, 1997) earned her Masters degree in economics from Catholic University of Guayaquil...Joined the USTA Player Development staff as a National Coach in 2003.
