A former doubles finalist at the US Open, Buehning was the National Junior Hardcourt champion in 1978... Earned all All-American honors at UCLA... Had significant wins in 1983 over Curren, Wilander, Teacher and Teltscher... His brothers were members of the U.S. Olympic Handball team... Fritz's dad, Dr. Peter Buehning, is a former Olympic gymnast for his native West Germany... He enjoys music... Resides in Bradenton, Florida.
