    Full name is Jean-Rene Raymond Lisnard... Nicknamed "J.R."... Began playing tennis at age six... Father, Michel, is a physiotherapist; mother, Laure, is a cooking teacher... Younger brothers Tommy and Jimmy both attend hospitality school... Compiled an outstanding junior career, finishing No. 16 in singles and No. 10 in doubles in 1997 world junior rankings... Advanced to SF at Wimbledon and QF at Roland Garros juniors in singles and reached doubles final at US Open (w/Llodra) in '97... Also French national junior champion and member of winning Galea Cup team... Says his most memorable tennis moment was watching 1996 ATP World Championship in Hannover, Germany five-set final between Sampras and Becker... Favorite surface is grass and considers his forehand as best shot... Fitness trainer is Bernard Salert.
