His father is a businessman and his mother, Bozema, is a doctor.
Hobbies include watching soccer and ice hockey.
    Compiled a 57-31 match record in 30 tournaments and earned a career-high
$650,350 in 1991. Finished a career-high No. 8 on the ATP Tour that year and
won a personal best four titles.
Surpassed $1 million in career prize money by winning his fifth career
singles title at Hamburg on May 12, 1991, defeating Magnus Gustafsson in five
    sets.
