    Began playing tennis at age nine… Father, Ole, is retired, mother, Lone, works for an oil company…Enjoyed a successful junior career, finishing as No. 3 junior in world in 1991… Enjoys soccer, snorkeling, art, books, movies and music of Lenny Kravitz, Coldplay, The White Stripes, Maxwell, Metallica and different kinds of Jazz…Member of advisory committee of Danish Heart Society, Ambassador for Save The Children in Denmark and supports elephants through wildlife scheme in Africa...Competed in 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and reached 3rd RD in singles and 1st RD in doubles…Says his best moments during career have been capturing his three ATP titles in Hong Kong in April 1998, Tokyo in October 2002, and Memphis in February 2005…A member of Danish Davis Cup since 1992 and has a career record of 38-25 in 22 ties (28-13 in singles)…Does not travel with a coach but consults with Morten Christensen and works with fitness trainer Karsten Jensen.
