After spending two seasons (1986-1987) at North Greenville College in South Carolina where he was the National Junior College Champion in 1987, Rincon attended the University of Kentucky where he was an All-American. He eventually graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications. Top 200 ATP ranking from 1994-1996. Member of the Colombian Davis Cup Team from 1989-1998. Currently head men's tennis coach at the University of Miami, FL where he lives with wife Laura and daughters Laura Sofia and Daniela Andrea.
