He registered his biggest career win at LaQuinta in 1983, defeating Jimmy Connors en route to the semifinals...He began playing tennis at age 14 and was a member of the 1981 USTA...Junior Davis Cup team...His first coach was his father, a retired auto mechanic.Enjoys playing golf, going to the gym and running...
