Currently works as a coach at the Robert Orlik Tennis Academy and parallel has his own school "Bauer Future Tennis"... In the past coached Anke Huber and David Rikl... Attended The University of California at Berkeley where was an All American and reach a National singles ranking of # 3... He registered his biggest career win at LaQuinta in 1983, defeating Jimmy Connors en route to the semifinals...He began playing tennis at age 14 and was a member of the 1981 USTA...Junior Davis Cup team...His first coach was his father, a retired auto mechanic.Enjoys playing golf, going to the gym and running... Lives with his girlfriend and their 3 year old son.
