    A three-time All-American at the Univ. of Tennessee, completing his
    senior year in 1988 ranked No. 4 in singles and No. 7 in doubles (w/Talbot).
    In 1987, he reached the quarterfinals at the NCAA Championships, defeating
    top-ranked Richey Reneberg along the way.
    An outstanding doubles player and his college coach Mike DePalmer Sr.
    says, "His All-America status places him with some former great Vol players
    on the pro circuit." Some former standouts at Tennessee on the pro tour
    include Paul Annacone, Talbot, Doug Flach, and Mike DePalmer, Jr.
    Earned a career-high $76,354 and finished No. 47 in doubles in 1992.
    Suffered a right shoulder separation on Apr. 18, 1993 in the Nice final
    and had to retire (w/Melville).
    One week earlier collected his biggest career title in Barcelona (w/
    Melville), defeating local favorites Casal-Sanchez in the final.
