A two-time All-America at the University of Arkansas in 1985-86, reaching the NCAA Doubles Semifinals (w/Schmidt) and a three-time All-Southwest Conference singles champion. Coached by Craig Wittus. He was the Boys' 18s National Hardcourt & Boys' 14s National Claycourt doubles champion. Earned a career-high $10,436 in 1987. Personal: Native of New Orleans, LA...started coaching career on the ATP Tour with former pros Robert Seguso, Richey Reneberg and Joey Rive...first college coaching position was as an assistant at his alma mater of Arkansas, followed by the women's head coach position at SMU...currently the second most famous head coach on the Texas Tech campus...resides in Lubbock, TX with wife Jenny and daughters Alex, Kate and Ellie.
