Residence: Fort Worth, TX. Wife, Jerry Ann;Son, Vallis Franklin Wilder, IV. 1986- Runner-up at Nagoya Challenger; Quarterfinalist at Newport, Ogun Challenger; Doubles semifinalist at Kenya Open. Began playing professional tournaments in April, 1981. Hobbies include coin collecting and music. Won the senior grand slam in men's 45 singles in 2004, claiming a national USTA title on all four court surfaces. Also a member of the USA's winning Dubler Cup team at the 2004 ITF World Team Championships.
