Flavio Cobolli is set to compete in the Roland Garros final Sunday, when he will face No. 3 player in the PIF ATP Rankings Alexander Zverev in his maiden title match at a Grand Slam tournament.
The 24-year-old is only the third Italian man in the Open Era — after Adriano Panatta in 1976 and Jannik Sinner in 2025 — to reach the singles final at Roland Garros.

Before this year's Roland Garros, Cobolli's best result at a Grand Slam tournament came in 2025 when he reached the quarter-finals at Wimbledon. The Italian holds a 19-10 record at Grand Slam tournaments, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index, for a winning percentage of 65.5 per cent.
